Our Response to Covid-19

We’re offering Free Coding Courses, Lessons & Tech Talk Series

The Coding School's mission is to ensure coding education is accessible, supportive, and empowering for all students. Now, more than ever, programs like ours are critical, and we're doing everything we can to help as many students as possible have access to personalized coding lessons. We're rolling out three initiatives to help students during COVID-19:

Free web development course + tech talks with professional software engineers through April and May

50% off online 1-on-1 and small group coding lessons for spring and summer

Virtual Summer Camps in Music+Tech, Quantum Computing, Creative Tech, Tech Taster + more

Free Coding Courses + Tech Talks

We’re offering a free coding course in web development and design and live tech talks with Q&A’s with software engineers from the biggest companies including Google, SpaceX, Netflix, Microsoft and more. This series runs throughout April - May.

Courses and tech talks include:

50% off for 1-on-1 and Small Group Classes + Scholarship for students affected by COVID-19

To make sure coding lessons are accessible and affordable for all families during this time, we're reducing the cost of our 1-on-1 and small group classes for Spring and Summer by over 50%. That means, 8 hours of 1:1 coding instruction will now cost $295, and small groups will cost $150. For anyone that has already signed up for lessons, we will give you credit for additional lessons.

We're also offering scholarships for lessons to any student whose:

  • Parent has lost a job due to COVID-19
  • Parent is a healthcare professional
  • Experiencing demonstrated financial need (we've always offered scholarships to students in this category)
